MCP

Language Weaver exposes an MCP server so you can integrate AI assistants and other MCP-enabled clients directly with translation workflows. Alongside the Postman collections and SDKs, the MCP server is a developer integration for building and automating against the platform.

The server uses Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP and exposes tools for:

  • text translation
  • file translation
  • translation status and results
  • account language pairs
  • document types
  • language codes

Getting started

  1. Choose your client.
  2. Configure the MCP endpoint — either install the extension for a guided, one-click setup in Claude Desktop, or configure mcp-remote manually.
  3. Provide the required authentication headers or login flow.
  4. Verify the connection and run a test tool call.
